The Associated Student Body Council (ASB) of Excelsior High School

Body Council. We’re looking for a wide variety of students to make up next year’s

Here’s a quick description of what ASB is...
The Associated Student Body Council (ASB) of Excelsior High School is a student directed
council that provides a wide range of services and programs for Excelsior High School
students and faculty. ASB Plans school dances, pep rallies, homecoming, lunch time activities,
grants funding requests, leads the student congress, and takes an active part of the decision
making on school policies.

The bottom line is...
The ASB works for the students of Excelsior High School, and it is the job of the ASB to serve
them! Let's take a moment to clear up some common misconceptions about ASB.

ASB is NOT a social club.
You do NOT have to be friends with anyone in ASB to run for an office or apply for an appointment.
You ABSOLUTLEY WILL fit in!
ASB is a tremendous responsibility and honor with little glory.
