Music In Motion
"There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself." - John Sebastian Bach (1685 - 1750)

Patty Thayer's Philiosophy on Music Education
I believe in promoting music education through involvement inside and outside of the classroom and appropriately supporting the school and the community through music. I believe in challenging musicians to always strive in doing their best, as well as challenging their parents to be a positive encouragement to our musicians. This all includes teaching and training musicians to be prepared for any musical endeavor that they may encounter including but not excluding the basics of musicianship, different styles of music, theory, history, honor bands, and auditions I strongly believe to an effective music educator you need to have passion for music, people and the teaching of music.
