Special Education
Excelsior Charter Schools provides students with disabilities a free appropriate public education. We are an independent study charter school with options for on-campus support. Excelsior provides an inclusion model in which all students are educated in the general education environment to the greatest extent appropriate for each student's individual needs. Excelsior offers all services outlined in a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), including but not limited to: specialized academic instruction, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, and college/career awareness. Excelsior provides these services either in-house or contracted with a nonpublic agency.
If you have any questions about Excelsior's Special Education program, you may contact the Special Education department at ext. 1459 or by email, specialeducationcontact@excelsior.com
