SchoolHouse Connection
The SchoolHouse program is the nation’s only national scholarship program specifically providing youth that have experienced homelessness with comprehensive support to and through higher education and into the workforce.
Eligibility Requirements
You are eligible to apply for the SchoolHouse Connection Youth Leadership & Scholarship Program if you meet all of the following:
- You currently reside in the United States. (Undocumented applicants are eligible.)
- You were born on or after June 2, 2007.
- You will be starting college for the first time in the 2027–2028 academic year at a: four-year college or university, community college, or trade school. This includes:
- High school juniors
- High school seniors planning to take a gap year
- Students earning a GED who plan to start college in 2027–2028
- Note: this does not include dual-enrollment courses.
- You have experienced homelessness within the last six years.
Our program begins working with students one year before they start college to provide intensive college readiness support.

The Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation Scholarship Program rewards students who have achieved academic excellence while being involved in school and community services. This program is open to all High Desert residents enrolled in an accredited program leading to a healthcare or medical-related career. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded over $1.5 million to qualified students

California Schools JPA High School Senior Scholarship
High school seniors can now apply for one of ten $1,000 scholarships by writing a 500-word essay on either student safety/risk management or health and wellness, plus completing a brief interview with a related professional.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship
Amazon Future Engineer students can boost their future for themselves and their community with the support of college funding, paid internships, and industry mentors.
You can receive a scholarship of up to $40,000
(up to $10,000/year) towards an undergraduate degree in computer science and an offer to complete a summer internship at Amazon!
Eligibility Requirements

Be a high school senior in the U.S. who is currently enrolled in or who has completed a high school or college dual degree course where computer science is the subject. Students who have not taken this course can opt-in to take an assessment offered by Amazon.

The BigFuture Scholarship for the Class of 2026 offers high school students chances to win $500 and $40,000 scholarships by completing college and career planning steps on the College Board's BigFuture website. Requirements
Here’s what you need:
- Must be a high school senior with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
- Must plan to attend a four-year accredited college or university and pursue STEM programs.

- The top 50 finalists will be required to submit a short video explaining how they plan to make a difference in their communities with a STEM education.
Note: Dependents of Edison International and SCE employees and retirees are not eligible.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
- Academic performance
- Need for financial assistance
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Work experience
- An impact statement and challenging circumstances essay
- An online recommendation
The selection process will not consider race, ethnicity, gender or other protected characteristics.
This is a competitive program. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as finalists. Not all finalists to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Application Requirements
As part of your application, you must upload the following:
A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display the student’s name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately.
- A copy of the family’s most recently filed IRS Form 1040 (first two pages) black out all social security numbers.
- A high resolution (1-2 MB) digital head-and-shoulders photo of the applicant with a plain background, which will be used in promotional materials if selected as a recipient. Photo guidelines.
You will also be required to supply the below information.
- The SCE Customer Number as listed on their parent, guardian, or close relative’s utility bill. Either the Customer Account Number (12 digits) or Service Account Number (10 digits) are acceptable. They can be found on the upper left corner of the SCE utility bill or the top right corner of the My Account section of the customer profile online.
- Two 1,000 character essays, one impact statement and another on challenging circumstances.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than February 6, 2026, 11:59 p.m. CST.
Do NOT use a high school email address for your recommender. High schools often have firewalls that block Multifactor Authentication emails required by our system. Use your recommender’s personal or alternate email, not associated with the high school. A recommender can be anyone who knows you well but cannot be related to you. They must have an active email address to ensure they receive our system’s automated emails.
Your application is not complete unless all required materials are submitted electronically.
*The top 50 finalists will be required to submit a short video (2 minutes or less). Instructions will be provided to finalists in February 2026.

These educational scholarships support CTA members, dependent children of active members and CTA Aspiring Educators (CTA-AE) members – formerly known as Student CTA – throughout the academic year with funds to be used for education-related purposes.

Riverside Community College District (RCCD) Foundation Scholarship
The Riverside Community College District (RCCD) Foundation offers scholarships for high school seniors planning to attend MVC or another RCCD college in the following academic year. To be considered for a scholarship, you must complete the scholarship application and go through the eligibility and selection process.

Apply for Admission to MVC
Apply for admission to Moreno Valley College, Norco College or Riverside City College and activate your student email address. Then, email Olayide Coston at olayide.coston@mvc.edu with your name and college student ID number. You will receive a return email to let you know when you can log-in to apply for scholarships.
Apply to MVC
Complete the Online Scholarship Application
Once you have received an email that you can begin the application process, go to the Financial Aid page at the MVC, NC or RCC website, select Scholarship Information and click on Apply for RCCD Scholarships.
You will be asked to enter your student email address and create a password. The scholarship application system will send an email to confirm your identity. Click on the link in the email to sign in to create and submit your scholarship application and any required documents.
After you create a log-in account at the scholarship application site, the first page you are directed to will be the scholarship general application. Be sure to answer all questions completely and accurately (also see the information about the personal essay questionnaire below). Your answers will help determine your eligibility for each scholarship. For some of the questions there may be help text included if you hover on the question.
You will be automatically matched to scholarships for which you meet the criteria.
Once you are matched to scholarships, you will need to click on the name of the scholarship and complete additional questions. You will also be asked to upload an unofficial copy of your high school transcript.
Be sure to click the "Save" or "Submit" buttons at the bottom of the scholarship application each time you make any additions or changes. You will have up to the deadline to finish all revisions to your application. Be sure to log in now and then for any messages from the system that need your attention. You will see important information in the message bar at the top of your page.
Request a Recommendation
Ask at least one qualified person who can attest to your current academic strength and potential for success to complete a Scholarship Recommendation Questionnaire. All you need is their email address, which you will provide during the application process. They will receive an email from the scholarship application service with instructions on how to complete the recommendation questionnaire. Please be sure to request your recommendations early so they have plenty of time to complete it!
You will not be able to see the recommendation, but you will know if the recommendation has been completed. Only the reviewing committee will have access to the recommendation.
You may have up to three scholarship recommendations, though only one is required.
Complete the Personal Essay Questionnaire
Part of the RCCD scholarship application requires you to answer scholarship essay questions which are an important part of your application. The answers to these questions will help those reviewing your application gain a better understanding of you as a student and individual.
Compose the answers to the essay questions outside of the scholarship application, then cut and paste the answers into your application. In the questionnaire, you will be asked to address the following questions:
- Briefly introduce yourself to the scholarship reviewing committee. (150 words or less, or about 12 lines of text)
- What are your career goals and your educational plan to meet these goals? Tell us about why you have selected your current major and career goal and any life experiences which may have influenced this decision. Also tell us about your anticipated role in society after your career goal has been achieved. (200 words or less, or about 15 lines of text)
- Do you have any activities, volunteerism, interests or responsibilities that you are involved with? Tell us about any accomplishments or achievements that you are proud of. (200 words or less, or about 15 lines of text)
- Have you had any challenges or life-changing experiences you would like the scholarship committee or donor to know about? What have you learned from these experiences? Also, tell us about any unusual circumstances which may affect your current financial situation. (250 words or less, or about 18 lines of text)

Riverside Sheriffs’ Association Student Scholarship Program
Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational-technical or trade school of the student’s choice in the United States.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Eligibility Highlights
A single application is used for the following two scholarships.
Applicants to the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association Memorial Scholarship must be:
- Dependent* children of an active, regular (LEU), retired, affiliate (PSU) or associate (MGMT) member of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association.
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the member’s household or primarily supported by the employee and claimed as a dependent on the member’s federal income tax. - High school seniors, high school graduates, or undergraduates who plan to enroll or who are currently enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational-technical, or trade school in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.
Applicants to the Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation Scholarship must be:
- Citizens of the United States
- Residents of Riverside County, California
- High school seniors, high school graduates, or undergraduates who plan to enroll or who are currently enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational-technical, or trade school in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.

Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival Scholarship Program
This scholarship is open to all residents of Riverside County who are high school seniors in the Class of 2026, with a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.0 (unweighted). All eligible submissions will be reviewed, with finalists notified no later than Monday, January 26.
Requirements
All required information must be properly submitted no later than Tuesday, January 20 by 11:59 p.m. All finalists must be available for a Zoom interview either Saturday, February 1 in the morning or Sunday, February 2 in the afternoon.

Determination
Scholarship finalists will be chosen based on the aforementioned items. AI generated essays are not allowed and all essays will be checked. Recipients of the Scholarship will be chosen from the finalists based on an interview with a judging panel. This interview will be conducted via Zoom during the pre-scheduled time frames. Interview questions will relate to the student’s essay, school transcript, aspirations, and basic knowledge regarding the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival.

Foundation 649 is a 501c3 that discovers and empowers young, talented Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders who are actively elevating and serving their communities across the country.

- Five recipients will be selected
- Each recipient will receive an award of $4,000 USD spread over 4 years
- The award must be renewed each year to receive successive funds (details to come)

Requirements
- Be a degree-seeking, full-time student enrolling in a U.S. accredited university in Fall 2026 as a Freshman or transferring from a community college
- Identify as Asian American / Pacific Islander
- Have a track record of involvement and interest in AAPI communities, issues, or causes
- Have demonstrated financial need for the scholarship
- Be a US citizen, resident, or foreign national. Undocumented students are also welcome to apply.
Application Requirements
The application consists of a video submission (link) responding to one of the three prompts below. We want to hear your stories - we encourage creativity, honesty, and originality (this should not be a rehash of your resume)! Your submission is based on its message and personal perspective, not fancy editing or film techniques. Simple, honest conversation is what matters most. Your video can be filmed on a phone, in any language, and can include subtitles if helpful. If you are selected as a recipient, with your permission, we plan to share your submission with our audiences. Videos should be between 1 and 5 minutes long. Remember to focus on clarity and storytelling. Your message matters more than editing or length.
- Intergenerational Conversations: Record a short video conversation with a family member, mentor, or community elder about what being AAPI means to them. Share what you have learned and how it has shaped your own sense of identity.
- What Home Sounds Like: Capture or describe the sounds that remind you of home such as family conversations, street noises, cooking, music, or any soundscape that carries meaning for you. Explain why these sounds are important and how they connect to your AAPI identity or sense of belonging.
- Roots and Routes: Trace the journey of your family or community (this can be across oceans, states, or generations). Explain where your roots began and how those paths have shaped who you are today. Reflect on what you have or have not inherited, such as values or traditions, and how those continue to grow in new places.
In addition, applicants should provide the FAFSA SAI (student aid index). If you are unable to provide this document, please provide substitute documentation and elaborate in the financial aid section.

The San Bernardino Countywide Gangs & Drugs Task Force is proud to offer the 2026 Horace Boatwright Memorial Scholarship to graduating seniors who have overcome adversity and are continuing their education at a college, trade, or technical school.
Requirements

STUDENT ESSAY:

- describe your adversity (challenges and/ or hardships), and did it impact your education? if so, how?
- explain how you overcame adversity
- state the college, trade, or technical school you plan to attend
- describe your educational and career goals.
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
(must be signed): Provide one page letter describing the
student’s involvement with homelessness, foster Care (current or former), probation, or other high-risk
circumstances. The letter should also highlight how the student has overcome adversity and describe their educational goals

Doris Davies Scholarship
Doris Davies was a life-long advocate for the children of the City of Victorville, and her passion for youth sports and education continues through the Doris Davies Trust Scholarship Fund. Funded through her personal trust, this annual scholarship supports high school seniors in Victorville who plan to pursue careers in a Sports or Youth-related field.
Eligible applicants are required to be a high school senior and a resident of the City of Victorville.
Requirements
Each applicant must submit the following:
- A current transcript of classes and most recent grades;
- A listing of community service hours acquired over the last two years, including where those hours were served;
- A 500-word essay describing their educational and career plans along with an explanation of why they are deserving of the scholarship;
- Letter of reference from a minimum of two non-family members (preferably from teachers); and
- Proof of Victorville residency
Scholarship recipients are selected based on:
- Need
- Community Service
- Scholastic Ability
