Every Excelsior student receives personalized support throughout their educational journey. Whether enrolled in an Independent Study or On-Campus program, students regularly meet with a caring, credentialed professional who provides academic guidance, helps them set goals, and prepares them for success beyond graduation.

Students in classroom-based programs meet with their school Counselor at least twice each year to review progress and future goals. These meetings include academic planning, course selection, graduation support, Personal Life Planning: college and career guidance, financial aid resources, and post-secondary planning. Your School Counselor can also provide short term individual and/or group counseling, social emotional support and skill development, crisis support, and conflict resolution. They also help coordinate support services with school staff and community partners.

These meetings include academic planning, course selection, graduation support, Personal Life Planning: college and career guidance, financial aid resources, and post-secondary planning.
